February 16 Science and Technology Prize was awarded to Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University, the Marine Transport Designing Institute of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, the Math Institute of the State Academy of Sciences and other units. Science and Technology Innovation Prize were conferred on the Pharmaceutical Institute of the Academy of Medical Science, the Kanggye Koryo Medicine Factory, the Capital City Passenger Traffic Guiding Bureau, the Geological Institute under the State Academy of Sciences and the Kangso Mineral Water Factory.

Diplomas and medals of the February 16 Science and Technology Prize went to Pak Yong Ju and Ri So Yong, room chiefs of Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University, Ri Yong Rin, vice-director of the Marine Transport Designing Institute of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, Son Kil Song, a surveyor of the Chongjin Harbor Construction Station, Won Se Yong, room chief of the Hydraulic Engineering Institute of Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering, and Kim Tu Jin, room chief of the Math Institute of the State Academy of Sciences and others.

Diplomas of Science and Technology Innovation Prize were awarded to Ri Hui Suk, Jon Myong Ae and Kim Song Sun, researchers of the Pharmaceutical Institute of the Academy of Medical Science, Kim Kwang Jin, director of the Capital City Passenger Traffic Guiding Bureau, Ra Sung Il, a teacher at Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, Rim Son Hwa, manager of the Kangso Mineral Water Factory and others.

A ceremony of awarding them took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Wednesday.
