German FM Calls for Withdrawal of US Nuclear Weapons from Europe

Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle referred to the need to withdraw U.S. tactical nuclear weapons from Europe. He said this speaking at the 48th Munich security meeting on Feb. 4.

The cut-down and removal of all tactical nuclear weapons would be an important contribution to security in Europe, he said.

Those weapons are leftovers of the Cold War era, he added.
