Kyrgyz President Calls for Fighting Extremism
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev emphasized the need to fight extremism and organized crimes. He ratified a relevant decree recently.

He expressed concern about the hideous criminal actions committed in different parts of the country and the ethnic disputes breaking out like clockwork. Extremism and organized crimes have become major threats to the social order, stability and national security, he added.

It is necessary for the government and the parliament to tighten legal order and ensure social stability and for law-enforcing organs to promptly and effectively react to the ethnic disputes, he stressed.
