They were participating in the study tour of the birthplace on the occasion of his 70th birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star).

The participants laid floral baskets and flowers and made bows to the mosaic depicting images of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk erected in the secret camp.

Led by the secretary of the C.C., Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, they made a pledge to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started in Mt. Paektu, true to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

They stressed that they would keep the immortal revolutionary exploits and behests of Kim Jong Il as their lifeline and reliably defend the legacy left by him.

They chanted slogans reflecting their will to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem forever and glorify a new century of Kim Il Sung's Korea as annals of prosperity and shining victory under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

At the end of the meeting they looked round relics preserved in the birthplace.
