The protesters rushed to the U.S. embassy in their country, putting up such placards as reading "Yankees, go home!" and made a strong protest with it against U.S. warplanes' jettison of spent fuel causing huge damage to the farmland around the base.

Demanding the prompt removal of this military base from the country, they warned that they would block the road to the base unless their demand is met.
