The Policy Department of the DPRK National Defence Commission in an open questionnaire on the same day solemnly urged the south Korean authorities to look back themselves on whether they are entitled to be a dialogue partner, the statement noted, adding:

An official of the ministry, however, told that "there is no need to make answers to every question", hoping "the north would respond with sincerity to their efforts for resumption of dialogue."

Such remarks are quite astonishing and deplorable.

It is well-known to every member of the nation that the DPRK has so far made patient efforts for resumption of the north-south dialogue.

Nevertheless, the south Korean authorities are repeatedly talking nonsense as a parrot trained by the U.S.

The statement urged the Lee Myung Bak "government" to answer the DPRK's recent questionnaire with sincerity.

The Lee "government" should be mindful that the only way for improving the north-south relations is to stop such anti-national moves as the plan to stage with the U.S. the joint military exercises for preemptive attack on the DPRK, it said.
