DPRK-Russia Agreements in Process of Implementation, Russia Says
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The relations between Russia and the DPRK have been remarkably revitalized since the DPRK-Russia summits early in the 2000s, said Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Valery E. Sukhinin at a press conference.

The meeting of Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev in Ulan-Ude of Russia in August 2011 injected fresh dynamism into the bilateral ties.

At that meeting the two countries agreed to carry out interesting plans.

All these agreements are still valid and in the process of steady implementation.

The present leadership of the DPRK with Kim Jong Un as its supreme leader is abiding by all those agreements reached with Russia in the past.

The construction of a gas pipe is no exception.

The DPRK's leadership will continue adhering to the agreement on building the gas pipe on the Korean Peninsula in the future, too.

Gazprom of Russia keeps working with the DPRK's Ministry of Oil Industry over this issue.
