Henning Yakobssen, member of the C.C., the Communist Party of Denmark, and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, were elected chairmen of the joint committee and Adolf Wurzer, general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK, was elected chairman of the committee.

The joint preparatory committee decided to send a congratulatory message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the Day of the Shinning Star and publish Kim Jong Il's work "The Songun Revolutionary Line Is a Great Revolutionary Line of Our Era and an Ever-victorious Banner of Our Revolution" in pamphlet.

The committees decided to hold various political and cultural events.
