Authorities' Anti-Peace Action Flailed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations in south Korea held the 119th rally for peace and disarmament in Seoul on Jan. 31.

Speakers at the rally noted that the authorities are seeking to purchase F-35 fighters from the United States.

Such purchase of weapons will batten the U.S. munitions businesses with taxes collected from people and further aggravate the situation of the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding areas, they charged.

They also said that the authorities have planned to stage Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises with the U.S., escalating the military tension from the outset of the year.

The projected exercises are evidently a war rehearsal for aggression supposing "contingency" in the DPRK, they said.
