Last year Russia procured more than 30 jet-type multiple launch system "Tornado-Grad" for missile and artillery units of the ground force.

This launching system, a largely improved version of multiple launch rocket system "Grad," is capable of rapidly striking targets in the long distance with high precision.

This system is reportedly equipped with various automated devices and its combat efficiency is 2.5 or 3 times higher than "Grad" multiple launch rocket system.

A spokesperson for the Russian ground force clarified this on Jan. 31.
