Birth Anniversary to Be Commemorated in Nepal

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A Nepali national preparatory committee for commemorating the 70th birth anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il was formed on January 26. C.P. Mainali, general secretary of the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold various political and cultural events including meeting, seminar and film show and widely introduce through media Kim Jong Il's exploits on the occasion of his birth anniversary. |
