Iran's FM Spokesman Condemns U.S. Illegal Behavior

| Tehran, February 1 (KCNA) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Sunday that U.S. detention of the Iranian professor of Sharif University of Technology, Mojtaba Atarodi, aimed to block Iran's scientific progress. He described the scientist as a distinguished professor of international status who was detained by the U.S. without committing any offence. He urged the U.S. government to swiftly release him. |
