S. Koreans Slam U.S. Nuclear War Moves
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification Sunday made public a commentary hitting at the U.S. nuclear war moves.

54 years have passed since the U.S. announced its deployment of nukes in south Korea on Jan. 29, 1958, the commentary said, adding that the introduction of nukes at that time was part of the U.S. strategy to recover its defeat in the Korean War.

Even before the ink of its signature to the Armistice Agreement (AA) was dried the U.S. had turned south Korea into its logistic base and illegally shipped nukes there while totally denying the conclusion of peace accord and the withdrawal of the U.S. troops, it pointed out.

The U.S. has since introduced nuclear weapons of various types steadily into south Korea, gravely threatening peace, the commentary charged, and said:

For the nuclear war crisis to be removed from the Korean Peninsula, it is important to replace the AA with peace accord, drive the U.S. forces out of south Korea and implement the inter-Korean declarations at an early date for peace and prosperity.
