Reality of DPRK Introduced by Brazilian Paper
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Brazilian newspaper Hora do Povo on Jan. 22 carried a travelogue on the DPRK written by Carlos Batista Lopes, first vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, illustrated with photos of President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il.

The travelogue titled "Beautiful Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's Korea" referred to the revolutionary activities of the President and the leader. It also carried impressions the writer got of Kim Il Sung's birthplace at Mangyongdae, the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, the Tower of the Juche Idea and the International Friendship Exhibition House he visited.

It recalled that the President founded the Juche idea in the early period of his revolutionary struggle and the leader comprehensively systematized and successfully embodied it.

Noting that Kim Jong Il pursued the Songun politics in all fields to defend socialism in the period of the most rigorous trial after the demise of Kim Il Sung, the travelogue continued:

The Songun politics was embodied to not only military affairs but also all fields of the country including economy.

The economy of the DPRK has maintained self-supporting and socialistic characters and the Korean people have advanced, overcoming every difficulty.

The DPRK has turned into a full-fledged nuclear weapons state and producer and launcher of satellites.

The loss of Kim Jong Il was the greatest loss to the Korean people.

But the Korean people will overcome sorrow with strength and courage and implement his behests.
