The Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK sent a message of deep thanks to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, the State Council of China and the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China for their heartfelt condolences.

The reply messages of the WPK Central Committee went to the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the general secretary of the Mongolian People's Party, the C.C., People's Party of Cambodia, the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia and the C.C., Communist Party of Vietnam.
