Repression of Reunification Movement Criticized in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification made public a statement on Jan. 26 denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for its fascist suppression.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office on Jan. 25 detained and filed a suit against Ri Thae Hyong, a member of the South Headquarters, on charges of involvement in the spy-ring case.

Referring to this action, the statement contended that the case has already been proven to be cooked up in a political aim to crack down on the reunification movement organizations, the progressive forces.

No matter how desperately the authorities are creating the terror-ridden atmosphere, they will never dampen the people's will to achieve the independent reunification of the nation through implementation of the June 15 joint declaration, it said.

We will surely bring to the court of history the ultra-right conservative forces and their followers getting hell-bent on war moves and fascist suppression while engaging themselves in irregularities and corruption, the statement warned.

On the same day, the organization made public a commentary condemning the puppet authorities for violent repression of the reunification movement forces.
