Iranian Leader's Top Advisor Says "No One Can Sell Oil if Iran Cannot"

| Tehran, January 29 (KCNA) -- Ali-Akbar Velayati, foreign policy advisor to the leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, said Thursday that "no one can sell oil if Iran cannot." Velayati dismissed as "futile" the latest European Union (EU) sanctions on the country's oil exports, adding that the European decision to embargo Iran's oil exports is in no one's interest. The European policy makers are overlooking how the embargo may push up global oil prices, he said. |
