A ceremony of conveying a certificate of honorary membership presented to him was held at the building of the Forum on Jan. 19.

Present there were personages of the Executive Committee of the Forum and chief editors of Bangladeshi newspapers.

The certificate was conveyed to the DPRK ambassador to Bangladesh.

The certificate said:

The Forum of Chief Editors of Bangladeshi Newspapers has the honor of registering as honorary member Your Excellency Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the DPRK who has made an immortal contribution to global independence while leading to victory the cause of building a thriving nation, the lifelong desire of HE President Kim Il Sung and HE general secretary Kim Jong Il, with their loving care for the people.
