In an article titled "A 100-year history of Kim Il Sung's Korea" the paper noted that Kim Il Sung defeated U.S. and Japanese imperialisms and exalted the sovereignty and dignity of the nation by arousing all the people under the banner of the Juche idea.

The 100-year history of Kim Il Sung's Korea is a history in which the DPRK turned into a powerful socialist state, the paper said, adding that the DPRK has made rapid progress in all fields under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The Juche idea fathered by Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, has been developed in depth by Kim Jong Il.

The Korean people became the proud masters of the sovereign and independent state under the banner of the Juche idea and built a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.
