Rodong Sinmun U.S. Warmongers' Remarks under Fire
Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. secretary of Defense, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces in the Pacific noted with "concern" that there is a big "threat of uncertainty" despite the sign of such fresh opportunity as "wind of democracy" in the DPRK. They also talked about vigilance being heightened against the "worst scenario."

Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a bylined commentary terms this sheer sophism and a lie to divert elsewhere the public opinion.

The United States is too much ignorant of its rival.

It is foolish for it to hope for any "change" from the DPRK. The U.S. military bosses' absurd remarks are a deliberate provocation rather than an expression of their ignorance of the politics of the DPRK.

The U.S. seeks to make the "threat" from the DPRK an established fact at any cost in a bid to justify its anti-DPRK moves and attain its sinister aim.

It is its invariable ambition and strategy to dominate the world by force of arms. It considers it can take control of the world only when it holds supremacy over Asia Pacific with main emphasis put on the DPRK.

The U.S. design is to contain and pressurize big powers by holding military supremacy in Asia Pacific, and stifle its "rivals" through collective military actions.

Its provocation against the DPRK is no more than a shameless and mean trick to cover up its nature as a wrecker of regional peace and stability and shift the blame onto the DPRK.

The U.S. bellicose forces had better clearly understand the reality and stop uttering nonsense.
