Metal Wall Hanging, Gift to Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- The 6th Pyongyang Film Festival of the Non-aligned and Other Developing Nations took place in the DPRK in September Juche 87 (1998).

The head of a Malaysian delegation, who had respected DPRK leader Kim Jong Il as a master of literature and arts and a great teacher, decided to make a present to him during his visit to Pyongyang for the festival.

His decision enjoyed full support from other members of the delegation.

Officials of the General Movie Bureau of Malaysia also joined them in preparing the gift.

They gave a special order for a metal wall hanging to a famous souvenir factory.

Carved on the hanging were the Monument to the State in Kuala Lumpur, Assembly Hall, temple, stone fortress built in 1511 and some other famous monuments in Malaysia.

Asking a DPRK official to convey the gift to Kim Jong Il, the head of the delegation wished good health to him. He also sincerely hoped that the Korean people would make great achievements in socialist construction under his leadership.

The gift is exhibited in the International Friendship Exhibition House.
