The plant tissue culture research group has produced 1.2 times as many cultured saplings as that of the daily plan.

Scientists have already introduced the ultra-tissue culture techniques and completed the research into induction and culture of sterile sprouts, sprouting in test tube and induction of roots and effective acclimatization of tissue cultured saplings and various other methods. They also established new technique of massively multiplying high-yielding strain, thus making a breakthrough in the intensive industrialization of the sapling production.

Officials and scientists of the branch actively expanded the research to make another breakthrough in the tissue culture, thus providing a firm scientific guarantee for increasing the production by several times than before.

The plant tissue culture department introduced new technical innovative plans and doubled the multiplying rate of the cultured sapling.

The science and research greenhouse, too, is acclimatizing those saplings grown in test tube in the effective way.

The production of saplings is rapidly increasing thanks to the devoted research of scientists and technicians of the academy to make a contribution to the improvement of the people's standard of living true to the vow made before the bier of leader Kim Jong Il.
