Kim Jong Il's Feats Praised by Syrian Paper
Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- The Syrian paper Al Baath on Jan. 15 carried an article praising the undying feats of leader Kim Jong Il.

HE Kim Jong Il was born at the secret camp on Mt. Paektu on Feb. 16, 1942, the paper said, and went on:

HE Kim Jong Il comprehensively realized the Songun politics on a new high stage as required by the changing international situation in the late last century.

Under his leadership the Korean people realigned the territories of the whole country as befitting those of socialism and built gravity-fed waterways, thereby performing miracles and innovations in all fields despite the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK, ceaseless natural disasters and all other challenges.

The DPRK successfully made the first underground nuclear test in October 2006 and launched the second satellite in April 2009.

HE Kim Jong Il, great leader of the Korean people passed away on Dec. 17, 2011 on a train while providing energetic field guidance.

The Korean people are working hard to implement the behests of HE Kim Jong Il, holding the dear respected HE Kim Jong Un as the supreme leader.
