S. Korean Students Demand Probe into Cyber Attacks
Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Growing stronger in south Korea is the protest of students demanding a probe into the case of cyber attacks on the website of the Central Election Commission by the "Grand National Party".

The General Student Council of Pusan University and other organizations made public a declaration on situation on Jan. 20 in front of the main entrance of the university.

The declaration branded the Ddos attacks, committed at the time of the October 26 election last year, as an undeniable crime.

The evidence proving the involvement of the GNP and Chongwadae in the case was found one after anther, but the authorities have told a lie so far, it charged.

The case reminds one of the March 15 fraudulent elections by the Syngman Rhee dictatorial forces 50 odd years ago, it said, warning the authorities should be mindful that the traitorous regime set up through such fraudulent elections was toppled by the people.

It called for introducing a special inspection system to probe the involvement of the GNP and Chongwadae in the case of cyber terrorism and the police's concealment of the case and punishing those responsible for it.

On January 12 students under the south Korean Federation of University Students in the 21st Century, including those of Kyonggi University and Tuksong Women's College, jointly called a press conference.

They denounced the police authorities for attempt to cover up the truth about the case and demanded introduction of the special inspection system for a prompt probe into it.
