Mexican Newspaper Mourns Demise of Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- The Mexican newspaper Unidad Nacional, on Jan. 15, devoted one whole page to the portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il and the photo of the dear respected Kim Jong Un walking alongside the hearse of Kim Jong Il together with an article titled "To the memory of Comrade Kim Jong Il". It was written by the chief editor of the newspaper who is member of the National Executive Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico.

The article said:

On Dec. 17, 2011, Comrade Kim Jong Il, great leader of the Workers' Party of Korea and outstanding statesman of the contemporary times, passed away.

Comrade Kim Jong Il was born at the secret camp on Mt. Paektu on Feb. 16, 1942.

His father Comrade Kim Il Sung was the founder of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK and his mother Kim Jong Suk was an anti-Japanese war hero.

Comrade Kim Jong Il was the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, the strongest one in the world.

He devoted his everything to making the DPRK an economic power and its people enjoy a wealthier life.

His life was an immortal one which illuminated the road for the popular masses' victory in the cause of independence.

Though Comrade Kim Jong Il passed away to our regret, his exploits are encouraging us to display redoubled strength and courage and carry on the endeavor for freedom, peace and right to self-determination.
