Kyrgyzstan to Commemorate Day of Shining Star

| Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee to commemorate the Day of the Shining Star was formed by the United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan on Jan. 17. At an inaugural ceremony, Pak Kyong Ho, chairman of the United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold various events including laying floral baskets, meeting, remembrance concert and photo exhibition on the Day, birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. |
