Iran Demands Withdrawal of Foreign Forces from Region

| Teheran, January 20 (KCNA) -- Mohsen Rezai, secretary of the State Well-Being Council of Iran, in a press interview on Jan. 18 demanded withdrawal of foreign forces from the region. He said that if the U.S. and UK are interested in the security of the region, it would be better for them to withdraw their forces from the region. Iran is able to defend the security in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz in cooperation with regional countries, without its dependence on outside forces, he added. |
