Non-Aligned Movement Condemns Presence of U.S. Drone in Iran

| Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) released a statement Tuesday condemning the most recent incident of a U.S. drone in Iranian air space. An unmanned U.S. spy plane, known as a drone, crashed in Iran on Dec. 4, 2011. The NAM statement said that the drone activity "contravenes all universally accepted existing international norms relating to sovereignty and inviolability of air space of sovereign countries." The statement added that the drone action by the U.S. also contradicts the founding principles of the NAM. |
