Polish on Koreans' Deep Reverence for Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- Polish Internet homepage "DPRK" on Jan. 13 posted a TV program titled "Scene of harmonious whole in December in tears of blood".

It said:

The heaviest snowfall in decades fell in Pyongyang at the time when General Secretary Kim Jong Il passed away all of a sudden.

Citizens took off their clothes and covered with them those wreaths, white bouquets and flowers laid at the portraits of smiling Kim Jong Il to keep them from snow.

Also on the day when the ceremony for bidding last farewell to the leader was solemnly held, Pyongyangites vied with each other to take off their padded clothes and mufflers and spread them on the roads, along which the hearse would pass, despite the cold weather.

The reverence of the people for him is so profound.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un took benevolent steps to protect the health of the people mourning the demise of Kim Jong Il in the cold weather and heavy snowfall.

We carry the program recording such scenes unprecedented in the Korean history.
