South Korean Authorities Accused of their Measures for Firing Workers
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- More than 5 000 citizens and members of trade unions of Ssangyong, Hyundai and Kia Motorcar Plants of south Korea on Jan. 13 held a rally in front of the Ssangyong motorcar factory in Phyongthaek, Kyonggi Province in protest against the murderous dismissal step of the puppet authorities under the pretext of restructuring.

The speakers at the rally said the most ardent desire of the workers is to live in society free from dismissal under the pretext of restructuring and part-time job.

They declared that to express anger is not enough but it is necessary to launch a vigorous struggle to have their right to work guaranteed through a high-intensity struggle including strike.

They called for making this year a year for putting an end to the authorities' man-killing policy of dismissal.
