Music, Dance Performance Given in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- A music and dance performance "Let Us Uphold Our Supreme Commander Forever" took place before full houses at the April 25 House of Culture from Jan. 11 to 13.

The performance, given in the wake of the Unhasu New Year's concert, deeply moved thousands of people, including servicepersons.

Enjoying the performance, they sorely missed General Secretary Kim Jong Il, hardening their determination to carry forward his cause.

Kim Jong Hwa, an official of the Ministry of Land and Environmental Conservation, said, "Listening to the songs 'Where Are You, Dear General?' and 'Snow Falls on Road to Front', I thought of the leader with tears in my eyes. His long journey of Songun leadership provided a strong national power of socialist Korea. That is why the Korean people are ardently longing for him."

Han Yong Ho, a serviceperson, said that when a picture of leader Kim Jong Il appeared on the stage background, he could not help tears running down, thinking of him, who regarded the servicepersons as his sons and daughters and his comrades.

Kim Kwang Hyok, an officer of the KPA who was honored to perform before leader Kim Jong Il in last December after proving successful at the 35th servicepersons' art festival, said:

"The chorus 'Leader, Just Give Us Your Order' is the song our company soldiers sang before him. We sang the song with the firm resolution to devotedly defend the Party and the leader, the country and people if the enemy invades our land even an inch.

I will defend the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by the dear respected Kim Jong Un at the risk of my life and perform heroic feats in the building of a thriving nation."
