Opposition to Ruling Quarters Grows Up in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Public criticism of the ruling quarters is growing stronger in south Korea.

According to an opinion poll conducted among 7 800 people throughout south Korea from Dec. 3 to 4, most of the respondents expressed opposition to the "Grand National Party's" stay in power while urging the present "government" to drop its "policy toward the north".

The ruling GNP has come under accusations by the public at home and abroad for such cases as Ddos attacks on the website of the Central Election Committee aimed to win the Seoul mayoralty and a bribery scandal committed to gain the party chairmanship which were recently disclosed in the wake of the big illegalities and corruptions by Lee Myung Bak and his family members and aides.

Almost those people of different walks of life involved in the recent poll demanded the replacement of the "government", saying that they would vote for a unified candidate from the opposition camp at the parliamentary election to be held in April. This is a serious warning to the ruling forces that have only engaged themselves in irregularities and corruptions, destruction of people's livelihood and confrontation policy.
