Lee Myung Bak's Rigmaroles Ridiculed
Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak, when receiving a report from the Ministry of Unification on Dec. 5, talked nonsense that "south Korea's consistent north policy gained a lot of achievements" and "it is beneficial to both sides".

Minju Joson Wednesday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

What Lee uttered is nothing but the revelation of his sinister intention to mislead the public opinion at home and abroad calling for making a switchover in his "north policy" and desperately pursue the policy of confrontation with fellow countrymen in the days ahead, too.

This was clearly evidenced by his blustering that "south Korea needs a consistent policy as it requires a change in the north" and "it is hard to predict what changes will take place in the north".

It is not the north but the south where changes will occur.

The destruction of the Lee group is inevitable as it has no one to trust and depend on.

Nevertheless, Lee vociferated about "changes in the north", rattling the nerves of the army and people of the DPRK. This has only added to his crimes.

The Lee group lost its last opportunity for dealing with the DPRK as it committed crimes against ethics during the nation's mourning over the great loss. He is now working hard to mislead the public opinion and cover up his crimes, but his sleight of hand will not work on anyone.

The DPRK is making every possible effort to achieve independent reunification and peace and prosperity by implementing to the letter the three charters for national reunification and the north-south declarations. The traitor, however, groundlessly depicted this stark reality recognized by everybody as a manifestation of its intention to "achieve unification by communizing the south." This is absolutely intolerable as it is another political provocation to the DPRK.

His moves to escalate the confrontation with compatriots will get him nowhere. They will only precipitate his self-destruction. Time will prove it.
