Korean People's Tears Were Eruption of Faith and Pledge: Nepali Newspaper
Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- The Nepali paper Charcha on Jan. 2 carried a special write-up with the portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

In an article titled "Tears of Korean People" the paper noted that no sooner had the sad news on the passing of leader Kim Jong Il been reported than the DPRK turned into a sea of tears in a moment.

It further said:

What did the tears the Korean people shed, touching the world, mean?

Kim Jong Il, the distinguished great man recognized by the world community, was not only the leader of the country for the Korean people but also their benevolent father without whom they cannot live even a moment.

He, who loved the people very much and always shared weal and woe with them, spared no efforts and worked heart and soul day and night to build a thriving nation and improve the standard of people's living. He died on a train of great mental and physical strain while continuing to make high-intensity forced march for field guidance.

To the Korean people, the leader was just their destiny and happiness.

Their tears were not simple tears of sorrow. They were essence of the single-minded unity of the Korean society where the leader and the people formed one community with common destiny.

They were an eruption of the all-people faith and pledge to always remain loyal to the idea and guidance of the leader.

No force on earth can block the path of such people.

The Korean people will realize the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il to the end, holding him in high esteem forever.
