Probe into Truth about GNP Bribery Urged
Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the opposition Democratic United Party in south Korea at a press conference on Jan. 5 demanded the clarification of the truth about the bribery committed by a lawmaker from the "Grand National Party" (GNP).

He recalled that Ko Sung Dok, a legislator from the GNP, received enveloped money from a candidate for its chairman before its congress in the period of the 18th-term "National Assembly."

He ridiculed the GNP, saying it is the party which allows even its chairmanship to be bought.

He deplored irregularities and corruption are being committed by confidants of the chief executive one after another.

He stressed that this case should not be glossed over but its truth be clearly probed.
