New Year's Addresses Made by Heads of State of Various Countries
Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Heads of state of different countries made New Year's addresses.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov referred to the achievements made in the country last year and stressed the need to sharpen vigilance in the present unstable and complicated days and thus prevent any infiltration of unsound ideological trends contrary to the nation's thoughts and feelings.

Czech President Vaclav Klaus said that all hopes for prosperity, the country harbored when joining the EU, had gone away. It is urgently needed to bring about radical changes in overall realms of society so as to restore the economic growth and social stability, he added.

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski said that the normal development of the country for decades to come depends on how they will successfully do work this year.

Hungarian President Schmitt Pal called for vigorous advance to hit the goals for this year, noting that last year witnessed the difficulties and controversial points unfavorable to the country including the financial crisis.
