Lee Myung Bak's Belligerent Remarks Slammed
Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak in a "special new year address on state policy" on Monday blustered that what he called "change is expected" in the situation on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia. He made such impertinent remarks about "a window of opportunity" and "sincere attitude". He let loose such belligerent outbursts as "there is the possibility of provocation from the north" and "strong counteraction", not content with crying out for "stop to the north's nuclear-related activities."

Rodong Sinmun Friday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is a revelation of a sinister intention to divert elsewhere domestic and foreign criticism and condemnation of the thrice-cursed crimes committed by the Lee group and persistently pursue the policy of confrontation with the north.

As for Lee, he has no opinion of his own on the inter-Korean relations, the commentary notes, and goes on:

"Change" touted by him is nothing but sheer sophism let loose by an underwit seized by a daydream of "contingency". It is an intolerable insult for him to expect any "change" from the north. If a change is to take place on the Korean Peninsula, it is a change to take place in south Korea where the conservative regime will collapse like a castle on the sand in the near future after facing a severe punishment by the angry public.

The north will never deal with the Lee group who has ceased to remain part of the nation.

What remains to be done between the north and the south is to finally settle accounts with the puppet group which has committed crimes against the nation.

The Lee group would be well advised to stop its silly wordplay and apologize to the nation for its big treason, with its knees bent.
