Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- Women of the Cuban embassy here Thursday visited the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of victory in the Cuban revolution.

Being briefed on the fact that the hospital was built as a comprehensive medical service centre for women, they went around different places including treatment rooms and sick wards.

At the end of the visit Iliana Almaguer Rodriguez, wife of the Cuban ambassador here, said:

The Pyongyang Maternity Hospital was built under the warm care of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The visit offered us an opportunity to know better about the popular policies of the party and government of the DPRK.

The health care system in the DPRK is, indeed, the best system as it values people more than anything else.

Kim Jong Il sent a lot of medical facilities, medicines and tonics to the hospital.

His love for the children and women is boundless.

His revolutionary exploits will shine forever.

I wish the Korean people greater successes in their efforts to build a thriving nation under the wise leadership of the respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.

The guests presented souvenir to the hospital.
