Memorial Services Held in Different Countries
Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- Memorial services were held in Mexico, Pakistan and Denmark between Dec. 27 and 29 last year on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Attending the memorial services were personages of governments, political parties and organizations in relevant countries including the Democratic Revolutionary Party, the San Luis Potosi State Committee of the Workers' Party, the Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism and the National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Mexico, the Sind State government and parliament, the People's Party, the Muslim League and the Awami National Party and the Peasants and Working People's Party of Pakistan, the Communist Party of Denmark, the Communist Party in Denmark and the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association and masses.

The participants paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il.

The president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism said that the demise of Kim Jong Il was the greatest loss and sorrow to the Korean people and adherents to the Juche idea throughout the world.

He praised Kim Jong Il as a great master of ideology and theory, the sun of Juche and peerlessly illustrious commander of Songun who developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, thus glorifying them as a great guiding idea in the era of independence.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association stressed that the revolutionary cause of Kim Jong Il would be accomplished without fail by Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people.

He said that he would as ever express firm solidarity with the Korean people in their cause of socialist construction and independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
