Memorial Services for Kim Jong Il Held Abroad
Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Memorial services for leader Kim Jong Il took place in Bangladesh, Finland and Guinea between Dec. 26 and 28 last year.

Attending the services were personages and popular masses of different circles.

They paid a silent tribute to the memory of Kim Jong Il.

Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Bangladesh, said that the sudden demise of Kim Jong Il, the prominent leader, is the bitter sorrow not only to the Korean people but also to the Bangladeshi people and the world progressives.

Kim Jong Il developed and enriched the Juche idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung, led the cause of global independence to victory with his distinguished Songun leadership and devoted all his life to the country's prosperity and the people's happiness, the chairman noted.

Kalevi Wahrman, chairman of the Finnish Communists' League, said the revolutionary exploits of Kim Jong Il, who dedicated his whole life to the victory of the socialist cause and the people's happiness, would remain in the hearts of humankind.

The Korean people will faithfully carry forward the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and surely emerge victorious in building a thriving socialist nation under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, he stressed.

Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, said that Kim Jong Il put the dignity of the Korean nation and the national strength of the DPRK on the highest level and provided a sure guarantee for eternal prosperity of Juche Korea by wisely guiding the army and the people under the banner of the Juche idea and Songun.

The revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by Kim Il Sung and led to victory by Kim Jong Il will be brilliantly carried to completion under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, he stressed.
