U.S. Jobless Claims Rise Again

| Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- The number of Americans initially applying for unemployment aid is increasing due to the continued economic depression. The U.S. Labor Department Thursday said that the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims for jobless benefits was 381 000 in the week ending Dec. 24 last year, a strong increase of 15 000 from the previous week's revised figure. |
