Cambodia-DPRK Friendly Relations Would Grow Stronger: Cambodian King
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- DPRK Ambassador to Cambodia Hong Ki Chol presented his credentials to Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni on Dec. 30 last year.

The king expressed most profound condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, on behalf of the great king and the great queen of Cambodia and on his own and on behalf of the Cambodian government and people. He said:

The friendly relations between Cambodia and the DPRK are historic and special relations personally provided by Great King Norodom Sihanouk and President Kim Il Sung.

We are grateful and will always remember the great support and encouragement rendered by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to the great king, great queen and the Cambodian people and the benevolence shown for us.

I am convinced that the friendly relations between the two countries would grow stronger under the deep care of HE Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people.

I highly estimate the achievements made by the DPRK in all fields of the state building according to the line of Juche under the outstanding leadership of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.

The great king, the great queen, I and the Cambodian government and people positively support the DPRK's cause of building a thriving nation and believe that the Korean people would register greater successes.
