Teheran, December 30 (KCNA) -- The commander of the Navy of the Iranian Armed Forces on Dec. 26 called for strengthening the military cooperation among regional countries.

Instability is prevailing in the Middle East due to the presence of foreign armed forces, he said, adding that regional countries can preserve the security by themselves only through military cooperation.

Iran's Navy is ready to conduct military exercises at any time with regional countries, he said.
