Pyongyang Textile Mill Renamed Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Textile Mill was renamed Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill.

After Korea's liberation anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk visited factories, farms and schools across the country to realize President Kim Il Sung's line of building new democratic Korea.

On October 10, 1948 she came to the place where the mill now stands with the President and leader Kim Jong Il. Appreciating the site for the factory set by the President, she said her lifelong wish would come true when a big textile mill is built there so that poorly dressed Korean people could wear good clothes at their will.

The noble wishes of Kim Jong Suk have come true under the wise guidance of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The Pyongyang Textile Mill converted into a comprehensive large textile mill rigged with modern equipment as required by the IT age capable of producing varieties of quality cloths.

The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK issued a decree on renaming the Pyongyang Textile Mill Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill on Dec. 21.
