Koreans Resolve to Annihilate Foes of Reunification

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The DPRK National Defence Commission released a statement Friday, accusing the south Korean regime of its crimes committed against the fellow countrymen in the north, seized with grief at the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Upon receiving the statement, an officer of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF), Cha Paek Yong, told KCNA:

"The statement has kindled bitter resentment at the south Korean regime among all the KPISF officers and soldiers.

We have kept a close eye on the crimes the traitor Lee Myung Bak has committed against the nation, reunification and the DPRK from the day when he came to power, and waited for an opportunity to punish him.

We can no longer remain an onlooker to his reckless acts. No mercy is available for such crimes."

A vice department director of the Ministry of Railways, Pak Yong Hwa, said:

"The Lee Myung Bak regime persistently seeking confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north is, indeed, a group of traitors to the nation. There is no need for us to have dealings with those ignorant of politics, vulgar in morality and mean in human nature.

We are ready to turn out in the struggle for annihilating the foes of peace and reunification and achieving national reunification."
