Cuban People Visit DPRK Embassy

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- More than 300 personages of Cuba from army, public and friendship organizations, institutions and fields of education, media, culture and arts paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Havana on Dec. 23 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Among them were the vice-chairman of the Munitions Complex of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, the director of Kim Il Sung High School, the chairman of the Federation of University Students and the deputy manager of the Cuba-Korea Friendship Poultry Breeding Farm.

The visitors paid a silent tribute to the memory of Kim Jong Il after placing bouquets and flowers before his portrait.

Expressing their deep condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il, they stressed that his idea and exploits would remain long in the hearts of the Cuban people.

They hoped the army and people of the DPRK would achieve bigger successes in socialist construction and the cause of national reunification, closely untied around the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

On the same day ambassadors and charges d'affaires ad interim of Russia, Laos, Syria, Indonesia, Congo, Namibia, Ethiopia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Zimbabwe, Grenada, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Romania to Cuba paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy.
