Foreign Organizations and Figures Visit DPRK Embassies

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Personages of Britain visited the DPRK embassy in London on December 20 to mourn the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included the chairman of the C.C., Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist), the spokesman (leader) of the C.C., Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) and the general secretary of C.C., New Communist Party of Britain and members of its leadership.

A delegation of the Popular Liberation Movement of Angola led by the director of its International Department and many personages of Angola visited the DPRK mission in Luanda and mourning stations set up at offices of DPRK delegations on Dec. 23 to express condolences.

The DPRK embassy in Katmandu was visited on Dec. 26 by chairmen of the central committees of the Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninist), the Communist Party (Marxist-Lenin-Socialism), the Communist Party (United) and the Congress Party of Nepal and the leader of the Congress Party who was former prime minister.

On the same days condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Damascus were paid by at least 60 personages of Syria, including the minister of Culture, the general secretary of the Al Ahd al Watani Party, the general secretary of the Arab Socialist Union Party, the deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and the president of the Trade Unions Federation, and ambassadors and charges d'affaires a.i. of India, Sudan, South Africa, Yemen, Norway, Bulgaria, Venezuela and Brazil to Syria.

Personages of governments, parliaments, political parties, organizations and institutions in Italy, Bulgaria, South Africa, Mexico and Libya and the secretary generals of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and the African Taekwon-Do Federation paid condolatory visits to DPRK missions between Dec. 20 and 23.

They laid wreaths and bouquets before the portraits of Kim Jong Il and expressed deep condolences.
