Snow Falls in Pyongyang before State Funeral

Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Snow is falling in Pyongyang and many other areas of Korea Wednesday when the ceremony of bidding last farewell to Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean nation, is just to be held.

The feathery snowfall reminds the Korean people of the snowy day when the leader was born in the secret camp of Mt. Paektu and of the great revolutionary career that he followed through snowdrifts.

It seems the sky knows well of how much he got snowed on during his uninterrupted field guidance tour for the happiness of the people.

The snow that had fallen all night is still coming down, making the people recall all days and nights he spent for field guidance.

All streets in Pyongyang and all towns and villages throughout the country are now inundated with people sweeping away snow before bidding their last farewell to the leader.

They, who spent a sleepless night, missing him, have turned out in all roads covered by him in his lifetime.
