Kim Jong Il Will Always be with Us (3)

Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Snow fell over streets nonstop as if the sky had shared sadness with the Korean people who grieve over the loss of the sun of the nation.

"General, our father, it's snowing. How ardently we wished you safety while singing the song 'General, Do not walk on snowy day' whenever we had snow. General, how can you pass so untimely and so suddenly?" This chocking voice was heard from Chollima Street.

Whenever it was snowing, people would worry if he was making a journey to the front. They wished him good health and safety, worried that he might push his car personally on a slippery road.

That was why the people called so mournfully the leader who was born amid snowstorm in February and left them behind in snowy weather of December.

Jo Sol Gyong (27), saleswoman of the Pothonggang Department Store, said in tears that they more keenly felt under what great leader they lived after losing the great father.

She said: "Our General left nothing for himself. He dedicated everything, life and happiness to the revolution.

"Still vivid in my memory is the kind-hearted General who had a broad smile on his face at our department store, pleased to see a modern commercial service centre serve people as required by the new century. The word 'people' sounds like his revolutionary legacy and this word reflects their wish for his immortality.

The great Comrade Kim Jong Il lives forever in the hearts of the people.
