Foreign Personages Visit DPRK Missions

Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Foreign personages of different social standings visited DPRK missions in their countries from Dec. 21 to 26 to express condolences on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. Among them were the deputy speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia, the general chairman and the general secretary of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, the chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Democratic Party of Indonesia, the vice-chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the representative of the Democratic Party of Thailand, the chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, the chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association, leadership members of the Union Solidarity and Development Party, Union of Myanmar, the secretary general of the Olympic Committee of the Ministry of Sports of Myanmar, the first secretary of the Ministry of Fishery of Myanmar, the director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, the general director for affairs of East Asia and Pacific of the Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry, the general director of Cosmos Group, the director of the RB Power Company, the deputy general secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, the chairman of the Indian Youth Group for the Study of Works of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the chairman of the Juche Idea Study Society of Delhi, India, the chairman of the Indian Intellectuals' Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, the president of the Indian Working Women Society for Study of the Juche Philosophy, the secretary general of the Lao State Football Federation, the chairman of the Traffic Security Council of Kuwait, the editor-in-chief of Kuwait Times and the rector of the College of Social Sciences of Kuwait University.

The visitors laid wreaths, floral baskets and bouquets before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute to him.
